I somehow overlooked giving Star a review. I've been a regular customer for over a year...Shame on me.
The have nothing but great things to say. The location is convenient with plenty of parking out back. The inside is small and a bit spartan but comfortable and very clean.
The service is always warm and friendly but food orders can be a bit slow. Keep in mind that this is not precooked fast food but made to order. So expect to wait a bit for delicious , fresh and hot food.
They have a decent menu selection and others have said they are all good. I, being a creature of habit stick to the usual, chicken teriyaki. The chicken is always tender and flavorful with a touch of char. My lunch on the go is the bento special. A nice portion of chicken, rice and steamed veggies with sauce. I think is a great deal a perfect lunch portion an $6.25. -

Always fast service & good food here! It's not fancy, but it's tasty affordable food with friendly service. There's always a place to sit and rarely a wait. Surprising since they're so good!

This is another place where I'm surprised by the negative reviews. There is nothing fancy or trendy about this place, but the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. It's a small mom and pop joint with nice home cooked food. I would recommend the spicy chicken - it's my favorite thing to order here. It's not actually all that spicy but just really well-flavored. The portions are pretty big, and I always have leftovers. I love the veggies that come with it (lots of cabbage) and sometimes I choose to get extra veggies instead of rice which costs a little more. I also like that they have brown rice.
I come here during my lunch break sometimes, and I've noticed that quite a few people do the same. If you get here during peak lunch hours, there is going to be a bit of a wait, but I've never waited more than 10-15 minutes. -

I've been coming here for years and I am never disappointed. Affordable and delicious teriyaki! Lunch specials are a great deal! Nothing fancy about this place which is what I like. Use to work right next door and get lunch here at least once a week but now I still continue to come way out of my way to get it. Will continue to come here as long as they are open!
